Be Right Back, Uninstalling

Full Version: Phoenix Wright is an awesome game, but...

It's gone through two ports so far, and the only thing that's changed is it's way of controlling what's happening.

First, it was on the GBA in Japan. Next it released on the DS around the world with the touch controls for controlling the way things went, plus a new case where you actually investigate the evidence (I would love to see this used again). And now it's going to WiiWare with having your point your Wiimote to make an objection. Like I said in the title, I love Phoenix Wright, but do you think they could make more changes than that?

The Ace Attorney Investigations is taking a new step in that series - using Logic and moving around Edgeworth around the scene talking to people. I've tried the flash demo, and it's pretty awesome and I can't wait to actually get it. But they haven't done anything other than changing the controls. It's getting boring now.

Now here's my idea. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Ep. 5, Part 24: The Videotape of the Murder The video in the fifth case featured 3D graphic renditions of the scene. Why not remake the game using those graphics? Like a Wind Waker style graphics, or TF2. It seems as if they've already done it. "But Chief," you ask, "how will they get the classic reaction faces?" But GMod has done it, kinda. If worked properly, it can be done.
Also, 01 - Naruhodou Ryuuichi - Objection! Enough said for that, really.

So, what gives Capcom? I think they should make the move, really.

EDIT: Also, I know there's a few things that Apollo Justice has done differently, but I haven't gotten the chance to play that game yet. I need to finish the third PW first. D:
Uh no.  Remaking the games with actual 3d characters would be fucking stupid.  They should rework the games to use more of the 3d evidence examination and stuff though, that was cool.

This.

And if Phoenix Wright ever is slightly less over-the-top than one of Jack Nicholson's performances, God help us all.
It's fine the way it is.

You kids and your need to have everything be 3-D, can't we just appreciate sprites.....
I don't mind the sprits, I love the gameplay. My only problem with is that EVERY FUCKING CASE IS A MURDER CASE. I played to case 2-3 of each game, each time, hoping they would give me at least one case that's not a murder. It's so goddamn repetitive.  I don't want to solve a murder each time. Throw it in-between other shit, make it like the "boss" case. But saying other cases aren't interesting is a cheap and easy way out of thinking of idea's.

Phoenix is a defense attorney, give me other people to defend. Someone framed for sexual harassment, a teenager being slammed with drug possession charges, a man who has a woman saying he raped her when really he's totally innocent and it was consensual.

FUCK I WOULD EVEN TAKE A CHIKKAN CASE just get off the goddamn murder already.

Murder makes for more interesting trials, ever watch CSI? Like 90% of it is murder

Would you rather be defending someone for burglary or embezzlement  :Smile

Maybe the "Perfect Prosecution" game with Edgeworth will have some more variety in its cases, but I have heard nothing more about the game other than its existence in the pipeline.

I would actually, that's thing. I think a variety of cases would be INCREDIBLY more interesting to me and could even help learn some law stuff if done right . I never liked CSI anyway, so boring -_-

Then go buy his game. It's awesome
Ehh, I have no problem with this, as I'm sure it's a simple port, and the series deserves as much money as it can get, but I'd like to hear SOMETHING about GS5 Tongue

And if it aint broke don't fix it! I'm super excited for Edgeworth's game, but don't you dare go messing around with the perfect formula :3
The series is great... but if you don't play the games in order, then Apollo Justice is not going to have as much of an impact. That said, the way that the four games avoid spoiling each other is an epic feat.

***Play the PW games in order! Don't mix them up***
Also, the games are all $100+ on Amazon now. This way there available for a reasonable price!
