demons souls wins gamespot game of the year

i could care less about gayspot (haha), but it really surprised me that this game was actually chosen by them

it won rpg of the year at the spike vgas. honestly it doesn't deserve goty for me though.

If you're measuring your goty in what it brought to the table that was genuinely new and original... then yes, this game wins by a landslide.

You clearly haven't played Mother 3 (aka Earthbound 2)

Eh, I didn't like Mother 3 as much as Earthbound. It was a bit... too frustrating for me.
