So, it's the last day of 2009, the last day of the 'Naughties' (or whatever they were called) and it's time to party like there's no tomorrow!!!

The naughties? That's the first time I've heard it called that. Y2k's sounds better to me.

Yeah, I heard people were going to call it that and decided that it was stupid. I think it has something to do with the word "naught" meaning nothing, since there's no number before the last digit in this decade (like the seventies, eighties etc).Anyways... I'm going to my friend's party and probably being bored for a good few hours. I don't really know a lot of people at it, and large parties bug me. Way too loud, I'm a small social gathering person.

Cool downtown, a lot of great places to eat. There is a small French bistro across from the Spaghetti Works that serves a fantastic Hanger Steak. Not to mention you have a pretty fantastic zoo. Iâm a fan.
Probably going to a warehouse party all night long.

We're going to get take out sushi from our favorite place and just... hang out together. Movies, drink, etc.
I might get started somewhat early(ish) at a birthday lunch for my sister in about an hour. I do have to drive though... probably just one martini slush.
Going to go to a friends apartment, watch the Blackhawks game and just drink in general

I'm boring and don't drink or smoke, so I'm probably going to continue playing Shattered Horizons, then sleep at a weird hour to make sure my sleep schedule is thoroughly broken.

I guess we won't be seeing ain for a few days as he'll be going to a zeppelin party and it will take quite some time for him to get back to Amsterdam afterwords.

Dinner reservations for chef's tasting menu where they have Chimay on tap, probably have a glass or 2 of Cava as well. Then First Night celebrations / fireworks.
My resolution is for next year to be the year we make contact.
