There was a little teaser for sam and max season 3 at the end of the last "Tales of Monkey Island" episode. I, personally, am really excited as I loved the first 2 seasons.
Anyone else hyped up for the next season?
That would be awesome. I got the first two seasons off the Steam sale and I'm already at the end of the second season, so a third season would be pretty amazing.
I could never get into the 'new' Sam & Max games.
The humour isn't quite right and the voices are all wrong.
*Shrug* There was only one game before this, and they mostly never had voices anyways since they were mostly comics. Regardless, I personally rather have enjoyed the series and can't wait for the third season.

Well, there was the Freelance Police comic series, and the Hitting The Road game included full voice work for all characters.
Then there was the 24 episodes of cartoons.
I felt that these maintained the same level and quality.

I haven't played hit the road (Although I'm going to soon, along with Grim Fandango, Monkey Island 4, and Maniac Mansion) but I fell in love with the new season. The 2nd season is funnier by a mile.

in his defense sam and max is a fantastic series from what i've been told. it can't possibly be as big a waste of money as MW2, which is a mega-gay game for fat people
Bought this because the original was great and the series really picked up with season 2. Hopefully this is just as good.
I was going to hold off buying this until after I got my gaming rig built, but the limited TF2 hats convinced me otherwise. Plus, I just really love Sam & Max.
