Who else is looking forward to this? I can't wait to try it out to play as Zero and Tekkaman Blade (big fan of Blade ever since Super Robot Wars W). Anyone else looking to try this game out or getting it? If we have enough people I'd like to get some matches in like we do with Street Fighter 4. Also I heard they killed the whole Friend Code thing for this and replaced it with a username, which means it shall be way better.
I am definitely picking this up, might pick up the arcade stick as well but I don't know. I played Tekkaman Blade at Season's Beatings (a capcom employee brought the demo build with Frank and Tekkaman Blade in it) and a lot of the top TvC players there said Tekkaman Blade will be top tier easily. Frank West is tons of fun too.

Oh that is good news for me. I get to be obsessed with a character who is AWESOME. Instead of me with Vega... he's so cool looking, why does he have to suck?!

You see, I kinda liked it. Although they should've used more gameplay footage because seeing it all bright and flashy and fluid made me want it so much more.

[/quote]Except for when you realize that most of them are terribly imbalanced and often haven't been playtested thoroughly (leading to infinites etc.). VS games are a whole different beast compared to Street Fighter. The only similarity are the motions.
Most of them CAN'T be balanced considering most of them were using marvel characters and super free form fighting setups. That kind of imbalance is just sort of inevitable unless they make Marvel characters not so super heroes.. Unless you count Capcom vs SNK, which is a whole different thing.
Yeah, but even so, reasonable players always find a way to win since most of the chars are....weird....
Alright, def copping this on the 26th and the stick tomorrow. I am hype. It also apparently uses the servers that Mario Kart Wii uses so expect good online as well.

Ok, played a bit. I like it a lot so far. I played a few matches on wi-fi, outside of being pretty empty right now. Lag was minimal once I closed what I was downloading on my computer. I decided I need another controller. The classic one makes my hand cramp up. So I might try either the GCN one or go find a better classic.

[/quote]It's just a matter of adjustment, gcn pad is terrible unless you use the control stick. It's far too small for what needs to be done. Just play for a little until your hand starts to cramp up and take a break. I think I'mma rock Zero and Polimar.

Yeah, I started the Gamecube one and it was alright. I think I'm gonna head over to gamestop sometime and buy a classic controller grip. It's the cheapest I've found it (even on the internet) and amazon had a ton of good reviews about it. $3 is fine by me.
So far I'm digging Tekkaman and Ippatsuman. I need to get Zero, but I played a Zero player online and he DEMOLISHED me.
