Hey hey,

So I wasn't sure whether or not I should post in here or not, because this isn't really an introduction...  More of a reintroduction.  Some of you might remember me, while most probably won't, as I've been gone awhile.  Anyways, I'm Black Aspen, a long time member of the BRBU community.  I was around when Caffeine impregnated the internet with what would become BRBU (when we split off from the Destructiod community), and played a lot of TF2 back in the day.  Well, I sort of fell out of touch with everyone awhile back, which is why most of you probably have no idea who I am.  There was no ill-will in my leaving or anything, I just got caught up in life, and had less and less time to dedicate to TF2.  Also, I was stuck playing everything on a P.O.S. laptop, which could barely run TF2 to begin with, nevermind any new releases beyond that... which brings me to why I'm back.

I robbed a store, killing 3 men (2 in-store, and 1 in the parking lot), in order to get my hands on a new PC.  My new, blood-soaked machine has brought me back not only into the world of PC gaming again, but also back to the BRBU community.  It's been so long that I was sort of on the fence of whether to come back (though I've had no intention of ever removing my BRBU steam tag, hah), but Caff and I got talkin', and he convinced me to come on back.

I've been on the TF2 servers for a couple nights now, and it's served as a total reminder of how awesome this place is, and how much better a game like TF2 can be when playing within the community.  So, in other words...  Glad to be back.
Oh welcome back!
I remember you.  You had like a baby with a gun or shades or something as an avatar.  Welcome home brother.
how does it feel to be a killer?

Ayep.  Screenshot from Assy McGee.  Still have that as my Steam profile avatar...  Considering changing it though.

It's alright, I guess.  I can't seem to get the smell of another man's soul off my hands though, no matter how many times I wash them.  It's not a big deal, but eating burgers is kind of a downer now.  Oh well, at least I can get a tear drop tattoo under my left eye now, and not feel like I'm just frontin'.

If you don't want that other soul I'll totally take it off your hands for you.
Welcome back Aspen; glad Caff could talk you into it Big Grin

Do you play anything else besides TF2 on your brand new PC?
Cool that you came back even though you were before my time here! I like playing with you and you're a decent medic buddy!

Apparently I am not the only one around here who collects souls...

Hmmm.. I figure a man's soul could fetch a decent haul though.  What shall we start the bidding at.  The sooner I get rid of this thing the better.  An un-bodied, other worldly scream keeps happening around me every 12 minutes past the hour, and blood's started to drip UP my walls.  That's cool and everything, just not my sort of steez.

In terms of multi-player stuff, I've been kicking around the Star Trek Online beta a bit, and I have a dirty little secret...  I've never played L4D...  I'm almost ashamed to say it, but I decided to hold off playing it until I got a new system first (to enjoy it at it's fullest).  So I've got it sitting here installed ane everything, and am just waiting for an excuse to play it.  Everything else I'm playing is mostly just single player stuff that I've missed out on in the last couple years. and that I'm finally catching up on.

You're already one of my favourite new people, because you have M.C. Fuckin' Bat Commander as your STEAM Profile avatar!  The Aquabats are seriously the best band in the world!  High five, and don't forget to eat your vegetables!  Thanks for the comliment on the medic play too.  It's not one of my usual classes (Hard to see me not playing Engie, Pyro and Heavy), but I always seem to do pretty well with it.  Mayhaps I'll give 'er more playtime.

Whoops, meant more when you're playing as heavy and I'm healing you medic buddy thing, but everyone can always use more medics. Also:

Ahhhh, I like the sounds of this much better (and it all now makes sense).  Anytime you need a huge ass with a huge gun to heal, just let me know.

Can I treat you to your first smite?

Also yeah you've been gone a long time, I've never heard of you and I've been here for a couple years now.

Welllll, I've gone this long without getting a smite, so I'm going to try and keep that up, if I can help it.  Also, my last post looks like it was on June 06, 2008... Yikes, it's been awhile indeed.
I remember you!

Sort of, at least.
