I'll futz around with it tonight after I get home
Downloaded.
I am... intrigued?
I played this a few years ago, it's actually quite fun!  It uses the Classic BattleTech rules, but the game basics can easily be learned within a few matches.  If theres enough interest I'll download this and teach you all how to play.
I've got a few rule books sitting around.. one moment.
lol, I wish I knew what the numbers on the top of the bloody books ment but I've got:
Three "The Battletech Compendium"s numbers 1640, 1690, and 1691
and a "Battletech Maximum Tech" number says 1700

*shrugs* Haven't played in a long time, but if someone can figure out how this 'MekTec" works I'll be willing to join yah (Time permitting of course)
Maybe we can set up an event for saturday?
I could do Saturday.
Ok, I spent about an hour messing with this game today. It is a lot of fun and easy to use. You can set bots so you can play by yourself. The only thing I haven't been able to figure out is how to repair mechs post battle. I'm trying to reuse the unit I created for another scenario and they're still damaged from the first round. (I have a Warhawk prime missing it's Left Arm and Torso after the LRM ammo blew up)

Depending on the mission, some damage will carry over, like if say an arm replacement takes 4 days, and your next battle is in 2 days, you can't fix it Wink
oh god what am i doing
You can have tons of fun with the bots. I just went up against a company of light mechs while using Widowmaker. I killed 5 of them before I got killed.

One scenario I do is I take an Atlas and go up against a ton of elementals, then proceed to use only "kick".

"Look at you tiny, eetsy-beetsy men!"

I wonder if it'd be worth doing a Solaris death-match type event if we get this going...

Yen-lo-wang is in the list of available mechs. I have to find a program to DL that will let me modify mechs myself.
