Kinda irks me that they didn't have a pre-load, but the game is up on steam now, if you preordered you should be able to download the game now.

More to come when I actually start playing...
Waiting for the rental myself which should be available today or tomorrow.  Don't got the money to afford this one, though I want to give it a go.
Was planning on getting this for a while, but after I finally forced myself to finish Mass Effect and saw it's epic ending (which means next game I have to get is ME2 :\ ) I'm gunna have to wait a bit.

Though, I did see it get some good reviews, which is always good.

When you see the ending to ME2 you will die in anticipation of the end of the trilogy. Caff, give multiplayer details when you are done with the singleplayer. Is it just tacked on garbledygoop?
Somebody gifted a copy of this to me; is this supposed to be good? Really only interested in multiplayer. I read something about the more you use your powers the more is transforms the appearance of your character.

To be honest to both Trick and Spore, the multiplayer from the description just sounds like tacked on because people complained that the first game "didn't have multiplayer".

I'm much more interested in the story to see if they can pull something original out of their ass after carbon copying System Shock 2 for the first game. I'll try it, but not after I play through the story.  :Smile

Trick did you play the first game?

Forever ago, and on the Xbox. I think I did the whole game on a Saturday. I remember thinking that the whole game was like playing in some twisted version of The Fountainhead and I spared every single "eve" creature? I don’t really remember.

[/quote]The multiplayer actually had some thought given in story-wise, it's supposed to be the civil war in Rapture when everything went to hell on New Year's Eve. You pick a character and you start in an apartment and get audio logs of who your character is, etc. and I guess you unlock more the more you play.

I know, Ive read about it, doesn't change the fact that I feel like its a tacked on after thought cause ADD xboxers can't "handle" an FPS game if there's no multiplayer. ZOMG why buy it if I can't pwn newbs online, hurp derp derp

Maybe I'll be surprised...

*Edited for my shitty typing
It'll probably be like Riddick's multiplayer, nothing to write home about, but still somewhat enjoyable.

We will find out tonight, won't we?  Wink
Multiplayer is pleasing enough.

Like Squish said, nothing to write home about.

Single Player is like usual. Excellent.
Still downloading.
Eh, Guess I'm downloading it.
Haven't played the multiplayer, but the single player is pretty great right now.

Also, the music is fantastic.
I am enjoying this greatly so far.

also those complaining about dying too fast, once you get health upgrades and stuff it's a lot better.
Only problem so far is that it seems to be straight-out stealing a few scenes from bioshock.

Also my computer is lagging a bit while playing this, but not by much.
Just grabbed the game for the 360, gonna put some good time in it tonight.

Just got this in the mail.
Bought this yesterday for 360. Pretty awesome. Multiplayer is pretty good, single player is pretty good. I don't see any scenes taken from thee first game. Some of the stuff in the multiplayer is kinda-sorta reminiscent of the first game but honestly ya I have no idea what your talking about with that.
