Well, ever since the game was released I've been hyped, and ever since I've been waiting since the eve of Christmas to play it, I couldn't because I had issues. I thought " Gee, it's been months, it should be fixed by now. " then I realized it's Valve, so I'm going to you fine gents and ladies for help.

OK, I start off, and I play Dead Center, the walls are completely white, and the zombies that jump out the window on fire, do not jump out the window. Massive slow down, and sometimes the zombies flash yellow when I hit them or when they charge at me. Once I get to the ground floor, I can't even play the game. I thought " Well, this might just be for Dead Center. " so I started up Dark Carnival. After 3 failed start ups where the game crashed, I finally play Dark Carnival. Same problems. I would normally think it's the Graphics Card, but I have a relatively new one, so I'm not sure if that is the problem. What do you guys think? Any help at all is greatly appreciated.

Does this happen to other games/have you tried completely reinstalling/are you sure it's not a driver issue?

No. Just with l4d and l4d2

I tried it with the original l4d, no dice.

How would I be able to tell if it's a driver issue?

Install a new driver and see if it works?
