Decided to redo my website. Need some sort of CMS/blog software, preferably with wiki-ish capabilities so I can use a corner of it as a project scratchpad. Debating between Drupal, Wordpress, and something from scratch in Ruby on Rails. Need to be able to blog, crosspost to livejournal (haters gonna hate), and repost shared content from my serverside RSS aggregator (which is supposed to hook into wordpress and allow me to reblog, but doesn't). Web devs, please discuss. :x

Wordpress rapes face if you can find the right add-ons.
I've used byteflow for Crystal's blog mainly because I just never (ever, ever, EVER) want to touch PHP again and I love the Django framework. I can hack stuff in quite easily because Django is built very modular and I also love the python language. It's not the most popular blogging software around but it's easy enough to hack.

Any suggestions? I think I like the front-end editor, it gives me the wiki functionality I want when used in conjunction with pages. I'll have to work on the FeedOnFeeds integration myself, since that doesn't work any more, but there are like a dozen livejournal mirroring plugins as well ;x Any other good ones I should know about?
Depends on what exactly you need. It's a bit hard to find a perfect add-on, but usually a little bit of Google or their plug-in database and you can usually find any kind of add-on. ¯\(°_o)/¯
Well I meant, what have you found useful, since it sounds like you use it already Tongue
I used it, there was a decent plug-in for posting RSS feeds as a post, but I forget what it was called. I do know that it was from their database, so I'll check it out for you.
TiddlyWiki was fun to mess with, though ultimately I dropped it because I found myself tinkering with it far more than I was actually writing with it, not unlike running Gentoo
I love wordpress.

I have another blog somewhere not on LJ that uses it... wish LJ did (or that the other blog wasn't associated with a place I hate now).
