Has anyone tinkered around with this yet?  I just got it installed and SMB for it and I have to say im quite impressed with how Wii games actually look in high def:

I'm trying to tinker with the settings to see if I can get the game to run at a good speed but for now it seems there isn't much I can do.  Plus audio doesn't seem to work for SMB (according to the FAQ at least).  It's still pretty neat though to see how much better SMB looks on my computer than it does on my Wii.  Going to *not* download some other games and see how well they play and look.

But anyways, anyone else mess with this emulator before?
I remember the gamecube dolphin emulator being utter shit and running at like 5 FPS max, how does this one run?

It runs well, it's just real beefy. Can run NSMB Wii well, a lot of newer stuff.

I'd just have to say slow.  The Frame Rate isn't bad (30fps) but it just moves slower unfortunately.

And I figured out how to get the sound to work, I guess my brother had my speakers turned off and I didn't notice  :-[
I know people who can run NSMB Wii at full 60fps. I can run Tatsunoko vs Capcom at about 80% speed too and that's a pretty graphics intensive game as well, and my PC is shitty

Care to share their settings?  Maybe its because I have the graphics beefed up, or maybe I have an earlier version (although Im sure I downloaded the latest)
The latest isn't the best one, also don't have settings right now as I just recently reformatted everything except my steam folder.

I'll find out the emulator version you want though
Much appreciated sir Big Grin
ok nevermind I guess the latest rc is the best one out
how does this emulate motion controlls, or does it just not?

There are "rotation" keys you can set from what I saw.  Might even be a key for a "shake" command.  So if you ever need to tilt right or rotate right you just hit an assigned key.
Ok I can't figure out how to Map the directional pad to my analog stick for my TE stick.  Mapping the buttons wasn't a problem but for some reason it doesn't want to recognize the directional input.

Can't play Tatsunoko vs Capcom with Keyboard arrows Sad
Which gamepad plugin are you using?  You should be setting it up as a GC controller, not a Wii controller.  Also I ran TvC at 90% on this thing, the only problem was initial slowdown when you do moves the first time, and the stupid block effect was glitched out.  I was pretty impressed with the emulator, it blows away the shitty PS2 emulation.  However having a modded Wii that can run games off a USB HDD, I don't have much a reason to use it generally.
Thank you Wedge Big Grin  Still runs a tad slower than I want but its getting better
