So, about 16 months ago, I built my first rig. Well it's starting to show its age a bit, so I believe it's time for an upgrade in RAM. I want 4+ GB of ram, but my motherboard (ASUS P5Q-PRO) has 4 slots, 2 of which are yellow, and the other 2 are brown. So here is my question, Can I use all 4 slots or only 2?
why would it have four slots if you can only use two?

Zane means that yes, you can use all 4 slots.

The different colours indicate which pairs you much populate to enable multi-channel memory.
Okay, so I can use all 4 slots? Awesome!

In the future I suggest you check your manuals first. Not in an 'RTFM' way, but in a 'teach a man to fish' way.
I did that HeK, but just couldn't really find it in the manual.

Also, I am buying this

This will be used with my 2GB of Mushkin ram, to put me at 6 GB
