Im not 100% sure so im going to ask. Will dvs bought in europe (Britain and Ireland) work in a Canadian drive/player?

long answer: what kind of dvd player do you have ? low end models dont have region restrictions in them.

And even if they do, some of them can be disabled.
Can't you play them on a PC? or if you don't have a computer hooked up to your TV couldn't you strip the region encoding out and reburn it?

PAL still can't be read sometimes for certain PC's
