Anyone use the sidebar?  So far I only use it for weather and a cokerewards gadget.  I need more, but have no clue what to go for, since anything I've found is terrible.  Anyone have suggestions?  I just need neat stuff.

Maybe I want a multi monitor that covers up/down speed, uptime, cpu usage, and memory (but the only ones I've seen don't do all 3)

Hopefully they don't use much by way of resources. I'm at the point where buying more RAM wouldn't be cost effective (since it's old-school DDR, not DDR2 memory) and I'd need to get a new motherboard. If I got a new motherboard, I may as well redo the whole box, but I can't afford such an upgrade currently.

Suggestions?
I have CPU meter with temperature and the weather as my sidebar gadgets.

The CPU meter + temp is handy, though you need to have Speedfan running in order to see the temperatures.
Yeah, gadgets are pretty crappy. Really ugly too. Just use Rainmeter instead. It comes with the enigma desktop, but there's like hundreds of other skins out there that not only shows your system stats, time, drive space and all that crap, but also looks really nice. You can get skins off deviantart and customize.org

Also, look up 10 Foot Hud if you want a nice bold semi-transparent text-clock.

Ooh 64 bit support
rainmeter looks cool but is there a way to get it to stop wanting itunes for the music plugin?
if that's part of the enigma desktop, you can just right click it and hit remove skin or something. Do you want some other media player or something?

Actually frankly, I just use 10 Foot Hud. It makes a reeally nice clock that goes nicely on my background. I just stick that on my second monitor so I don't have to pull a 180 to look at the clock by my bed. Tongue

Can't really find anything for last.fm though. Pretty sure they have controllers for winamp and foobar. Probably not what you're looking for though. Actually, I'm not even sure if last.fm gives access to let other programs control it.
WMP wouldn't be bad i use that for the time being doesn't look like there's anything good that works with wmp
w/e i like the looks of the thing thanks

Mine tops out at around 50C when I'm playing TF2 with other crap running in my second screen... Idle ranges from 25-30C.

Kirby's temps are not very happy.
Yeah I'm not sure what the hell he did, whether he has a LOT of dust (it's very likely) or a faulty fan / heatsink. He could also just have hot ambient room temperature, but I doubt that.
