Sleep is Death is a game created by Jason Rohrer, the guy who created The Passage. It's a load different from The Passage though.  It's a two player only game, one player sets up a story (the controller) and one player goes about the world the controller set up and can either play the way the controller intended the story to be played or deviate from it completely.

As the player character makes notations and speaks it's the controllers job to make what the player character wants to happen to happen within a time limit of 30 seconds. Once that 30 seconds is up, control goes back to the player character and the story continues from there.

It seems to be a really interesting concept. You pay $9 for pre-order and get two copy's of the game, after pre-order time it's $14 for two copy's (it comes with two no matter what since it's two player only). It's got about a day left before pre-order  closes and I'm looking for anyone else who might be interested to play it with (although my second copy is already spoken for so you'll have to shell out the money for your copy your self).  8)
You gay son.

Also this isn't a game.  It's Choose Your Own Adventure in realtime.

well that is a given for pretty any activity you give me
I'm interested. But this seems like something of interest to people who like to explore storytelling through evolving media.

I played some with a friend. We didn't know how to use the editor well.
ya, 8 seconds is not nearly enough time for newbs, is there a way to adjust that?

It's supposed to give you 30 seconds not 8.
yea, i should really stop posting in the evenings... I meant 30, dunno where I got 8 from or how I didn't catch it

Still, it'd be nice if the first couple games a pair plays together give like 1 minute for the controller, even 30 seconds felt too little when you're just starting up
