The Humble Indie Bundle

For a week or so, you can pay whatever you want for 5 indie games. You get Windows/Mac/Linux versions of every title, and the money goes to charity (specifically Child's Play, EFF, and indie developers, some pretty fantastic charities). Not a bad cause all in all, but don't be a dick and donate under 30cents (under 30cents and they receive no money due to paypal fees)

edit: LINK
World of Goo and Gish are both worth any amount of money in the world.
link to site?
Oh wow, I fail. It was still even on the clipboard Sad

Fuck yes awesome.
Purchased.  Thanks for the heads up, Duck.
Emptied the rest of my checking account on this. :p

And by that, I mean the buck and a half I had.
Something is better than nothing. World of Goo was amazing, I haven't played any of the others but I've heard good things about Penumbra
I'll buy somebody a five to ten dollar Steam game (Depending on how much you donate :3) in due time if they purchase me a gift code.

Edit: And the Penumbra series really kicks ass, at0m. As long as you don't get a good look at the monsters, it's scary as Hell.
I've got your back, spore, drop me a PM with your email address for teh codez
So I'm playing Aquaria and I just got that pull thing...

Does it get better? I mean, as artistic as this is, I've been going for a while and it's just not really that interesting.
For anybody who bought the Humble Pack and is enjoying Penumbra, you are now invited to a special offer courtesy of the developers of the series to get the whole Penumbra Complete Pack for the paltry sum of 5 dollars. Just so you're aware, I paid 20 dollars for each Penumbra. They pretty much kick a wide assortment of ass.

Edit: Oh, and their next title which is of similar vein to the Penumbra series is now available with a 50 percent preorder discount until the 11th.
Picked it up for $10.

Yes, it reminds me so much of super metroid and ecco the dolphin.  The middle areas of the game are really good looking along with great music to go along with it.

I also purchased this bundle for $10, even though I already had Aquaria.  Now they need to make the sequel to continue the story.
I also bought it. So far I really like World of Goo and Penumbra. I'm meh on Gish and Aquaria. Lugaru I haven't tried much (played the tutorial) but I'm very ehhhhhhh on that.
Thanks to a generous donation, the Bundle has been upgraded a bit. Anybody who bought it can now also download the game Samorost 2 from their download link. Also, the sale only has two days left and remember you can now get the other 2 Penumbra's for 5 dollars on their site if you purchased the pack.
I want to get this but I already beat World of Goo, I didn't like penumbra because I'm a wuss, and I didn't like gish Sad

Though penumbra sounds like the perfect girlfriend co-op game hmm....
The sale ends in 8 hours. Get in on it while you can. Remember, if they reach one million, they will release the source code of Penumbra, Gish, and Lugaru and who knows what else. Of course, it will also do great things in convincing others to do more sales like this.

Give them a second or two to stop celebrating. I'm sure we'll get it.
