Full Version: why does utorrent kill my connection now

i installed some different drivers for my wireless card in hopes to get better signal and now utorrent makes it so i cant browse the internet while its on.  browser says it cant connect to anything while utorrent works fine.  someone help Sad
this used to happen to me no idea what fixed it honestly

your isp might be choking you so utorrent hogs all your bandwidth
Try going back to your old drivers.

Or better yet, stop using wireless completely.

mayne i cant drill holes all over my house or hide cables in plain sight

hek said it was worse last night but it's been much better to me than wifi
how old is your router?

it's probably less than a year old
When you installed new drivers it might have changed your max allowed open connections in windows, check that.

Also what's your upload speed at when it happens?

uTorrent is more than capable of jamming 90KB/s through my line with no lube that normally dies at around 60KB/s - gives me the exact same symptoms as you described.
