Just played it for about an hour. No vehicles or destructable environments but was pretty fun. Easier to kill guys for sure. 1 shot to the head= DRT
I haven't pre-ordered it, so I probably won't be getting into the Beta, but good to see it's fun.  Not expecting tons from this game, but I'm usually in for a new shooter.

well i spoke too soon. There was a vehicle on one of the maps. I didn't pre-order it either but it was waiting for me to DL. You might get it if you bought BC2.

Waiting through...Steam? I went onto Gun Club and it says something about inserting my pre-order Beta key to unlock it.  I do have the M24 unlocked for Medal of Honor though due to owning BC2.
I got in using this, but it looks like they're out of codes.

Yeah I tried the code grab when it was going, but I got to it to late I think.  Never got a message with it.

bam. There you go. You fuckers should get on it. It's fun. M21 rapes.
Would if I had the Steam version lol
Well after playing the 360 Beta of it, I gotta say that I'm really liking it.  Though very similar to CoD, it seems to have cut down on alot of the ridiculous stuff brought about in that game, simplying things to what matters.  Your not gonna get dual guns, or sentry turrets, or AC130's to blow the shit out of everything in the area.

There are kill streak things, but it's basically every growing air strikes...Mortars first, then rockets, then massive strike, then a harrier strike, none of which is meant to stick around for lengths of time, but rather quick strikes that you can designate where the basic area they will hit.  One of them you can control like a predator strike which is the..."Massive Strike" I think.  They don't explain some of the stuff though, so it's kinda weird, like they don't tell you the harrier strike is basically a direction ground attack and you can get killed by it if your not careful.  I also like that you can't just hide and hit whatever area you want.  You actually have to be able to look at the area and designate, which puts you in danger.

The biggest thing I noticed was the sound in this game.  Holy crap, guns actually sound like they can tear shit up.  I don't know if it was just them turning up the bass, but everything is just powerful and you can hear people running around.

Weapons are pretty simple at first, but work well.  Each side gets their own specific gear, though I don't know if there is much in weapon differences, like between the M4 and AK47 for the Rifleman class.  I'm guessing just appearances and sound for the most part. I like the leveling for new gear, basically just needing to play between the three classes of Rifleman, Spec Ops, and Sniper, earning points within each one to unlock extra magazines, different sights, new guns, etc...

To me, a game that involves more around actually shooting and usingskill to kill people compared to camping for a wild array of weapons that'll do the killing for you instead makes this a more viable game.

So basically it's Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare, the good one

Yeah it's more in line with that one for sure.  I actually had very few complaints about the Beta, other than like when you die, the screen does a quick freeze and just looks bad...Sometimes it's kinda hard to tell where teammates are at due to the white indicators, but you can only kill them with mortar strikes from the looks of it.

Also, aside from possible lag spikes, there is no knife lunging, though I can't say for sure if knife strikes are always one hit kills, cause I've drawn blood from a guy and not have him die, but other times it would be an instant kill.
The only issue I ever had with COD4, other than the general player base, was the grenade icon. ALL IW HAD TO DO WAS MAKE IT BIGGER THE CLOSER YOU WERE! IT CAN'T BE THAT HARD TO DO!

"Oh hey, theres that grenade icon, but I must be far away from it, I'm just gonna go over the-" EXPLOSIONS BLOOD EVERYWHERE

Vlambo raging at screen
It doesn't get much better with this one.  It shows the grenade, but if it's in the area of you, it shows up, so you can't tell the distance exactly...At least I didn't notice.  Could be different for the PC version.
I will say that it seems like Combat Missions will need tweaking.  Spawns for the enemy put them right next to the objectives and are not in safe zones, so it seemed like it was easy to spawn camp.  One in particular on the second objective of the map in the game, snipers can almost fire right as people spawn, or at least come out of it, cause there isn't cover blocking it, and there seems to be only one spawn area.

Other than that, alot of the latency, accuracy, and seemingly hiccups are just part of the beta process that should be fixed by release hopefully.

Well Realtime Worlds are morons.  I have alittle more faith in a game built on a already tried engine and then still has two months to release.
Abit of news for BF hopefuls...If your anticipating BF3 and plan on getting Medal of Honor, you might want to grab the limited edition.  Much like Halo: ODST that was used to play the Halo: Reach beta, you'll be able to eventually get into the Battlefield 3 Beta when it comes out...which we have no idea when, but we assume sometime next year.
