Late to the party, I know. Got it on Steam sale. I started and finished the game, it took about 6-8 hours for me (lost track of time).
The fighting system was pretty cool, even if flawed and a little janky. It's not often that you're focused on "Disarm" rather than kill. The guns are made intentionally awkward to the point of impracticality so that you keep moving. The sequences where you are being chased/hunted are well played out and "I actually shouted holy shit" tense. The hint key was also quite helpful. The visuals also worked well.
The story is too vague overall (but the Esurance-ish animations are cool). The game starts to head into suck territory when you're indoors, on the boat level and in the "orange pk building"Â I had to repeat some sections because of sucky collision detection.
The best compliment I can give the game is that it was truly ORIGINAL. Something NEW. Very refreshing.
Good expierence, worth about $15-$25 (Way too short to be worth $60-$70)

SPOILERS BE HERE TILL THE END

Thoughts on the ending: The sequence where you have to shoot the servers sucked. I didn't think they made it obvious enough that you had to shoot one server in each cluster, so the flow of the last level for me went to shit real fast.
Thoughts on the story: The story resolution was part satisfying and part lacking. Lt. Mitchel lacked motivation for going rouge at the end. I wanted to fight the damn mayor, not the douchy teal guy. Yahtzee was right, you never know why those protests were held, and that undercuts a lot of the meaning behind the action.
I think the game was straining REALLY hard to be the next Portal. Evidence: C'mon, seriously EA, ending a truly original game with a song that repeats "Still Alive" in the chorus? I smell jealousy!
