Be Right Back, Uninstalling

So I'm going to try to take over and revive the mod nights every Thursday.

Here we have a nice poll with 14 mods that are popular/been suggested. The poll is open for 5 days, and each person gets to vote for 7 of the 14. After the 5 days are up, the poll is closed, and we will try and play the mods in the order from most popular to least. At the end of each mod night, I'll make another poll to see if we want to play the mod we did again. Otherwise just vote for what you want now and hope. I made it so you can't see the results till after the fact, because I want to see an honest result, not people going with whats already popular.

I haven't actually played that many Source mods, so I just voted for a few I'd been meaning to try and Spore said were cool.

i remember one night we did hl1 mod night, played tfc.  shit was so good. my vote goes to fortress forever.







also, ive never heard of ww1 source but that sounds incredibly boring if its anything like the real ww1.

Last time we did TFC, myself, Kor, and a few old vets went a bit overboard. I can hold the spam pit on cap 2 of dustbowl as a demo by myself, and its not pretty....

From that night...

"Why does the medic not have uber"
"Why can't I kill things as a scout"
"Holy crap how did you fly halfway across the map"
"What's a 'conc jump'"
"Why does pyro suck so much"
"Whats a grenade"
"Whats a detpack"
"How do I heal people"
"Jesus christ stop spamming"
"How do i bunny hop"

I should have just tried to get railgun kills as the engineer or something, since those are pretty much impossible to get....I miss comp play on old dustbowl, and one demoman being able to keep the enemy team in their spawn for 30 minutes, while racking up 200+ kills, its one of the most rage inducing and demoralizing things in a video game, ever.

i remember how we played the original epicenter and everybody still didnt get it  :-*

That reminds me....blowing up your dispenser should have been made to cause damage on the engi update, Det-Dispenser kills were fucking win
