The heavy update prompted me to put in a new rotation...

Here it is:

cp_secret_base

I've added starship and secret base as test, see how europeans like our community mapper creations...

I needed a good cp map... and this was the only one that I could think of... That or desert fortress...
I like Warpath, is one of the most fun cp maps

It's supposed to stay true to the tfc map.
I don't think any arena maps should be on regular rotation.  They're great, but it's not fun when only 16 out of 24 people can play at a time.  I'm all for RTVing to them when the server is less full.

Yep, the area underneath used to be blown out by a demoman's detpack, but since those don't exist the next best substitute is to have a barrier you break down.

There wouldn't be 24/7 warpath server if it sucked Wink

Well yeah, but the problem is that TF2 is not TFC, hence that it doesn't quite work the same.

I love the map design but honestly it needs to be made to work with TF2's new stuff instead of forcing hard (and annoying) limitations.

I'm not someone who likes maps that just directly port from one game to another though.  If you are going to make a map based off of another one, at least make it work well in the game that it's being ported to and add your own visual flare to it... don't just copy+pasta

Except the whole point of porting the map was to copypasta. That's why it is the way it is. If he'd renamed it <something>-path and _based_ it on the previous one, then ya sure what you said makes sense. Otherwise, eh, its a port of a classic map, and has all of the imbalances that the classic map has/had, or as many as he could accurately duplicate.
Sometimes simple is better, Ill take an orange map over a stock if it plays better anyday
