Well now I have to buy one  :'(

I just hope with the rumored "amazing online support" that they won't opt for the lazy "barebones" online experience. I'd hope for a friendcode-less system with some sort of lobby system and either a lobby leader or vote system to chose maps, modes, and other options.

If this actually happens, I'll buy one instantly :-X

Wii U will not support DVD or Blu-Ray playback.

Nintendo is just doing more and more to guarantee I don't buy this console.
implying you cant just mod it
terrible excuses for missing out on a console karth

also nice seal
I don't get why you need another system to play dvds and blurays. I mean, don't you already have a ps3 and/or a bluray player MrMovieMan? That seems like a pretty petty, empty excuse to pass on a new console, but whatevs, I'm passing because after Wii and Brawl, Nintendo is dead to me Smile
The only problem I can really find with the Wii U is that all the multiplatform titles they listed will have already been out for a considerable time on the other consoles and give no incentive for xbox 360/ps3 owners to buy it.

Well, it's not like newer multiplatform games developers haven't talked about yet won't hit the Wii U as well. Those will probably come to all 3 consoles at once. Now, a few years down the line when Microsoft and Sony get new consoles? I don't know what will happen to Wii U.
I just can't find any incentive to buy the Wii U. And that's weird coming from me, I've pretty much bought only Nintendo consoles since I was a kid.
I can't see much of a reason to be excited for the Wii U either.  The controller design is more interesting than the Wii-Mote, but from what I'm seeing, it's just gonna be the Wii HD.  And after the Wii basically failed to be interesting to me, this has to do alot more, as not even it's first party games like Mario and Zelda are pulling me in with it's gimmicky motion crap.
Well all they really did was show off what it could do and what it might do. Still seems the only reason they showed off the Weeoo anyways was because they didn't have much else to present, otherwise they'd been better off just not saying anything about it. I'm just gunna wait until next E3 to see what they will do with it and see if it'll be worth my money.

I don't know, I'm excited about every single 3DS game they presented, especially after watching the 3D videos on my 3DS.
so
megaman legends 3 was canceled

Costs 70 bucks. Nice that I don't have to buy a motion plus for it.
I'll be grabbing that myself, since I'll be borrowing my sisters Wii to play this and she doesn't have a motion plus controller.

Consoles seem pretty dead, and the only handheld I'm really looking forward to is PSP2 (pleasepleaseplease have PS2 support)

Though at least Professor Layton and the Spectre's Flute is coming out here <333333333333333333333333333333

Name a _bad_ Zelda game that was on a Nintendo platform. This looks pretty good, and after replaying Ocarina 3D, do want
