On that note I played this at a friends house for a bit, it's AWESOME, even though I am terrible at it.

And I already know the gist of the story especially since my friend explained it to me.

I just have this thing where I don't like playing old games in a series that have bad flaws in several ways when a newer game in the series is out that fixes said flaws. It's weird I know. I just feel like I am wasting my time "grinding" through a style gameplay I know is done much better in something more current in the series even if I would end up spending less playing the older game.

I can understand that for AC, but from what I hear they changed very little gameplay-wise between ACII and Brotherhood.

Whats the problem there? Tongue  Honestly, they fixed a few things that were annoying.  For example, money has more long term use.

I wasn't trying to say it's a bad thing. He said he doesn't want to play old games because he doesn't want to have to deal with problems that were improved in the sequels.  The point I was trying to make was that ACII didn't have any big flaws that were later fixed in Brotherhood, so it won't feel like he's "grinding" through inferior gameplay.
Oh.  Well yeah AC2's pretty damn good.  Most of what they changed was gameplay mechanics, not controls.  The only bad thing is sometimes free running doesn't do what you want it to or detects weird.  But it's like that in all 3 games, uncharted, etc.  Won't really get fixed until we get seriously good physics engines.
Beat the game

Yeah, they cliff hang all the games.  Fuckers.  Gonna have to wait forever for AC3 too.
I bought me some AssBro when it was the Amazon deal of the day. I'm at lvl 10 on the multiplayer, and I've beaten the story. What the christ, sez I, to the ending.
This is still too expensive at gamestop.

Considering i just picked up modern warfare 2 at what i thought was an appropriate price, it'll probably be at least a year before i pick this up.
Yes, furthermore, trying to make sense of the endings of these games is an exercise in futility Tongue
Fuck the stories in Asscreed.  I pretend I'm an actual assassin killing real people, and not some random asshole in a memory machine.  Problem solved.

Just played the first one. The storyline in the future is retarded.

That's the way to play, true. It's still a weird ending tho 8U
Finally finished AC2.  Holy fuck the ending was stupid.  The whole last 10 hours just felt unnecessary.  The game would have been awesome if it ended at the first fight with Rodrigo Borgia and left out the Greek god/apocalypse mumbo-jumbo.
Just finished the AssBro DLC.  Ah more fun missions and a few dungeons.  Also totally worth your time to sit down on leonardo's bench (where you'd get him to craft stuff for you) and watch that conversation Tongue
I finished Assassin's Creed 2 last night. That game was great, the whole thing got me hyped up for Brotherhood. I started Brotherhood this morning, it's very fun. This series is probably one of my favorites lately. I like Brotherhood more than Portal 2 so far.  ;D
Started playing some of the AssBro multiplayer.  It's pretty fun actually, and a little intense too.  Looking forward to unlocking more stuff and being awesome.
