anyone play it?
Not since it left the beta and required a purchase to play  :p
Yeah I noticed that. It still looks damn cool and I have a job, so I wanted to gauge interest here.
I think as far as DOTA people are willing to pay for, DOTA 2 is coming out for that Tongue
Yea with DOTA2 not too far ahead I'm content with playing LoL in the meantime.
i'm considering playing the free trial for hon

and who knows how long it's going to take for valve to make dota2

dnf?

anyways, so i played a match of hon

holy fuck it's hard to figure out what is happening in the game

no real good way to figure out if something is your enemy or not, aside from knowing every unit.

as cool as it looks, lol is much more fun though i suppose it was just one game i'll see if i can get some people on mumble next time

it seems like the game over complicates things just because

like building items, they took the things that needed to be in the game in warcraft because of engine limitations. i don't like the recipes at all and i find the shop menu to suck pretty hard.

HoN is really for the hardcore MOBA gamers. And yes you need to know everything about everything, but you kind of also need to know that in LoL. It's a lot more micro based because of the amout of active items you can do and the runes and warding and all that fun stuff. If you get good at it it's fun. I used to play DotA with some friends who were pretty pro at it and I learned a lot about the game and how you should play it. (Denying is probably going to be in DotA 2 because it was a really key part in DotA.) I hope we get a large turnout for DotA 2 because that game is going to be awesome.
yeah that's why i wanted to get used to denying, i don't expect it to be a huge problem in low-mid level games, only in high level.
Damnit come back to LOL.
but i can't punish baddy autoattackers in lol
I won an account in a random drawing, so I played it a bit.
Definitely not as fun for me as LoL.  I also played DotA with friends, and its just not the same.

LoL is a much smoother game, much better engine, better buying/items, easier to see wtf is happening.

I honestly think that the HoN developers ported the little crappy sideeffects of using an RTS engine for DotA into the HoN engine.

At least the hotkeys are all next to each other Big Grin.

Are you going to post a valid counter argument or just post stupid pictures? The credibility of your opinion decreases every time you make a post on the forums.

Regarding OP: les just stick with one MOBA game for now.
