So my Xbawks HUEG and my PC share the same sound system, so I always have to switch the inputs everytime I want to play one or the other. Recently I found out I could plug in the HUEG into my line in on my PC, and have it route. But it sounds like utter shit.
Would a sound card fix this?
It likely would, depends on the quality of the car though I think, Mission would be better to answer this I think, but after getting an XFI I'm never going back to on-board sound
Instead of spending money on a new soundcard, just get a RCA/Component switch and connect only the audio. Cheap and you can use your xbox without the PC running.

can you link an example? All I'm seeing are the non-cheap ones.

Great, another thing to lug around. I think I'll stick to a nice compact sound card, and my pc is practically never off.
Whoa, now thats ugly. But super cheap! Thanks, I'll most def be picking that up.

But wait, my sound system uses the audio-head phone-jack thing. Will I need a Stereo Plug to RCA coverter?

There is a black one for $3 more
