Be Right Back, Uninstalling

1. First things first, you need a program called WebcamMax. This is what you use to stream the video through a "webcam". You don't actually need a webcam to do any of this. Keep in mind: this program is not free. Whatever means you take to obtain it is not my concern. I'd go for the latest version, but settle for whatever you can find.

2. You need the file of the movie going to be streamed, preferably an .avi file. You can get this two ways: By ripping the DVD as a .avi file, or downloading it by other means (aka torrent).

3. Log into the community justin.tv account. You'll need the info from me, but I won't give it until I'm given all the details of the stream. (Date, time, movie, etc.) It will be your job to edit any of the channel information that you want changed.

4. You'll need to activate your Stereo mix. How I normally do it is by right clicking on the sound icon in the right-hand tray and selecting recording devices.

If you can't see stereo mix, you'll need to right-click an empty area and check "show disabled devices". Once you do see it, right-click and select "enable".
If you couldn't find stereo mix, I can't help you. It's an issue you'll have to google.

5. TEST IT BEFORE IT'S TIME TO STREAM.
You absolutely need to test it before it's time to stream. Have a friend or someone on steam check your stream and make sure everything's running correctly (IE: audio sounds good, video streams smoothly or at least as smoothly as possible, etc.).

6. Invite, stream, and MUTE EVERYTHING UNIMPORTANT.
This is EXTREMELY important. When streaming, make sure all other applications are muted or closed. Everything that you can hear on you computer is heard on the stream.

Important things to keep in mind:

    * When you take a week, it's your job to get the posts up, work out a time, vote on a movie, and contact someone to get the event posted.
    * It is up to you if you want riffers or not for the movie.
    * Be absolutely sure that you are available on the date of the stream. If something comes up, make sure and tell people it's delayed or cancelled.

If you still are interested, send me a PM. We'll see if we can work something out.
