For those of you that don't know for almost two years I've been working with a team to design a game, we went through a year and a half of kicking things around before finally settling on a simple parlor game that's a mix-up of war and dominos.

Well after much gnashing of teeth, learning Objective C for the iPhone, and spending what little free time we have making it, we have finally completed it and are nearing publication. Just finalizing paperwork at this point Wink

Since its going to be a bit of a wait on Apple for the next 1 - 2 weeks to convert our account before we submit, I was wondering if anyone would like to help with some last minute beta testing.

I'll update things when we actually publish to the app-store (it will be a free app w/ads), but the end of the tunnel is in sight Big Grin
If you ever need some well done, professional write-ups for the site, I'd love to. It's pretty much what I'm being paid to do right now, and I wouldn't ask for anything in return other than being able to use it as some sort of reference on a resume? Tongue

Not really, it's all protected gov't stuff, I can't share any of it or else it's a Conflict of Interest or something like that, but you can give me a topic or example, and I'll be glad to write something up for you as a sample!
I can help Big Grin

<Edit - You dont want to post the ID publicly for various reasons, I copied it for myself, I'll message you on steam tonight - Caff>

Anything I could proofread? I hold a clearance well over protected levels.

Mmm, I'd like to say yes, but I've only got the lowest secret clearance, and I technically don't think even I'm supposed to see this stuff. It's all CRA related though! Once I get home, I've got a couple write-ups and I've PM'd surf about a sample or two...
I doubt I have a skill I can offer, but hey. I put that on the table anyway.

'grats, team.
Oh shit, you still need art for that RPG?  Or can Sponson/Backfire/DK handle it?

Also, is bitmap-based fine or do you need it vector-based... because I can't get the hang of Adobe's vector programs...

I don't have an iPod, so I can't help you test stuff, but good luck with it and with the music-shooter Smile.
I wouldn't mind testing. I'll get my ID tomorrow when i boot into XP to sync my apps/music etc.
Apologies to anyone who was expecting beta files this weekend, my account is currently transitioning from an individual to a corporate account, so I can't access what I need to for adding new IDs to the beta list.

But at the very least, that's awesome news.

If Touhou and Audiosurf had a love child
they did, it's called playing beat hazard on suicidal difficulty (aka normal difficulty on touhou) with touhou music :-*

Except Beat Hazard sucks, its played like asteroids and as far as I can tell, the only thing that really changes with the music is your weapon and how many flashy light colors the background is.

Think more generating enemies and bullet patterns based on synth data with it being top-down scrolling
