Ok, first off, I couldn't post this in the podcast section.

Second, everyone here knows I love movies. I know a couple other members who love talking about them. So I pondered to myself, "What if BRBU did some sort of movie podcast?" But would any of you be willing to listen to them? Personally, I'd love to do something among these lines, hell, I'd be willing to host them for the group.

I"m making this hastily because I'm pretty tired, but would you guys be willing to take part in or listen to a weekly or bi-weekly movie podcast?

I'd listen or be in it... movies are easy to consume and discuss (Gotta make those Media Studies courses count for something, amirite?)
I'd be interested. I love movies, and since I'm the idiotic minor, I can always give my opinion on movies that you wouldn't dare even look at. *cough*TRANSFORMERSTHREE*cough*
Could be great, but please learn from all the other podcast efforts before making a new one. Also it would be nice not to spread these out too much, if you want it to be a BRBU thing I'm sure you can keep it under the same banner with Evilcheese.
Just a hybrid with evilcheese would be cool.
While I still think this is an interesting idea, let me share a few thoughts.

The primary mission of the BRB, Recording podcast is to be a source of customized, relevant, and original entertainment for the BRBU community. The game discussion aspect is secondary to that. I had planned for episode three to be a deviation from the game discussion format of episodes one and two. The reason why I wanted episode two to be a similar format to episode one is because I wanted to control as many variables as I could while we are still getting some of the technical and organizational stuff worked out. It's much easier to make a handful of incremental changes as you go rather than changing everything up all at once. I had planned episode three to be more of an eclectic mix of segments. In that episode we could talk about news in the community and I can give you guys more freedom to add some original content with your own segments, such as your movie reviews.  My long term goal for this podcast right now is to get the organization and production down so well that we could turn out semimonthly episodes. In that schedule, one episode will be more similar to the format of episode one and two, and the other will be more like what I plan for episode three.

The reality is that we've pretty much been in an unscheduled hiatus as it's been almost three months since our last episode was posted and we don't even have a solid outline for episode two yet. A lot of it is due to organization and communication shortcomings on my part. I'm not as good at motivation as I should be in this role. I'm also a bit overwhelmed trying to keep track of all the different responsibilities that come with organizing and producing this podcast. I think we can both compromise a bit, consolidate our efforts, and keep everything as a single podcast. I'd be very grateful if you could help me a bit with some of the organization and I could let you have a more active role in production.

Sounds awesome, I'd love to help out.
You thinking like an MST3K style format, or more serious?

I'm imagining it'll be...uh, podcast format. Until we iron out any details, I say let's not assume anything.
