I've got 3 days and 700 gig to *obtain* whatever I want from the internet to keep me amused for several months till the first external HD drop is planned.  What do I get?

In exchange I offer my new kittehs:

Zoey.  Yes, that Zoey.....

[Image: 188929_871429735774_11308168_46958070_689708_n.jpg]
And Ranger.  He has built in Anti-personnel lasers.
Cats, and Porn

But not cat porn, that would be gross, and probably illegal.
Yeah, I'm actually trying to avoid porn since my laptop might be subject to search whilst crossing borders.

Vandamguy

emulators + roms
Just cause 2
GTA4
sandysandbox game

photoshop,
after effects

metric ton of TV episodes ie: big bang theory , house , mythbusters
Something big, like Fallout New Vegas or Oblivion. That'll keep you distracted for a while. Oh, and Terminator 2, because that's the best movie ever.
In addition to previously mentioned stuff:

Prawns - Hide the porn well... Embedded deep withing folders, sub-folders, sub-sub-folders with unassuming names in strange file formats. It wouldn't be right to go hungry.

Pictures of steaks. It wouldn't be right to go completely sexually unsatisfied.

Minecraft - It's like LEGO but with zombies and lava. It's also nice and relaxing.

GTA San Andreas - I actually found it a much better time waster than GTA 4.

Music - A shit ton of it. Download everything by anyone you've ever listened to, a bunch of stuff somehow similar to it, and then even more stuff that you've never really listened to. And then some stuff you've never even heard of. DO NOT SKIMP ON MUSIC.

Literature - Maybe download some books in pdf form. Maybe a zombie apocalypse survival guide.

Pictures of loved ones.

Pictures of steaks. It wouldn't be right to go completely sexually unsatisfied.

Pictures of your beard.

Movies - Never a bad thing.

Cartoons/Anime - Whatever is awesome and slightly nostalgic.

A backup of your laptop in case a system restore is needed.
or you could just encrypt the drive and not give a fuck if anyone searches it.
Here's a few movies you should download to waste time:
Seven Samurai
Original Taking of Pehlam One Two Three
Edgar Wright movies (Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World)
Charlie Chaplin Collection
Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs
Terminator 2 (as merc said)
The Great Race
Hot Shots and Hot Shots Part Deux
The Naked Gun
aaannd some Quentin Tarantino flicks if you haven't seen any of his stuff.

(Y'aaaaaaaaaaaargh) some Rifftrax stuff too. I recommend Jurassic Park, Eragon, and Plan 9 from Outer Space live. Of course, you could always ask caff for the best MST3K episodes.
Ranger looks like a pimp. If I had a cat..it'd be Ranger.
Star Control 2, Heroes of Might and Magic 3/4 and Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup last me fooooorever on my laptop when that's all I have
As far as pronz go, install an older game (one with a textures folder, practicaly any older quake engine (or spin-off) game) and rename the files numerically or with 'textury' sounding names.
Porn in a folder with the heaviest encryption you can muster

And Emulators + ROMs, you could easily fit every system from the N64 down into that HDD space with room to spare
Torchlight, Civ 4/5 if you're into that. I got all 3 seasons of breaking bad in like 6 hours last night. Pokemon games used to tide me over for while but havent played one in about 4 years.
Kitties!
Emulators are good time-vs-size storage.

Can't go wrong with entire TV shows.

NCIS, 24, Top Gear, X-Files, Venture Brothers, Babylon 5, StarTrek (all of it), House, Buffy, etc.

Fantastic time killers, tho not that great on space.  All of Dr Who? > 500 gb.

I'm fairly certain he could DL all of StarTreck (Assuming all the assorted series, Next Gen, DS9, Voyager, etc) and still have several days of nothing but StarTreck, non stop all day left over XD

Oldschool Kirk I think would qualify. =p

I meant Enterprise, but I've honestly never cared for the Enterprise episodes much at all, so I was drawing a blank on what they were actually labeled, ergo the Kirk comment. I misspoke as well, 203GB over 644 files, not 350GB.

350GB was the All-Data torrent. =x

It's pretty funny when you have to plan for a torrent to take up a third of a HDD.
