Anyone else bought/buying this game? I haven't played a good diablo clone in a while so I picked up the preorder.
Demo looks cool.
I played the demo, it did not grab me at all.  Utterly generic story/setting with shitty combat.  I got tired after every single fight in the game for about an hour repeated five or so of the exact same model of dude with a sword without any distinctions whatsoever.  Maybe it gets better, but I ain't interested.

cancel your pre-order if you're expecting it to be a diablo-ish game, it's more like Dragon Age 2

i played through and beat the game already and that's saying a lot since i rarely finish games.
total time to play with side quests is about 12 hours
there's random loot generation but its all crap, treasure chests dont re-stock , and boss mobs dont respawn so there's no farming. shops have static inventory so you cant reload you game and hope for something worth buying.
combat isn't that bad but each character has only 1 or 2 useful skills so once you find it you will be repeating the same combo all the time for maximum win
story is decent, but its nothing you havn't seen before.
if i had to put a dollar value on it i'd say its about 15$ not 50$.
it would be one of those games that gets sold in the jewel case only.

How do I cancel a preorder on steam? Just played the demo and it's not worth the $50. I was hoping it'd be more like 2.

disclaimer: i have not played any incarnation of a dungeon siege game, ever. just thought it'd be useful to people thinking about getting it
Torchlight was alright for a Diablo clone, wasn't too serious kinda light-hearted. Was good to fight of the crave of something Diablo-esque and new(ish). Pretty cheap on steam as well I believe.
