Been having problems with one of my drives lately. When I was trying to install sc2 it couldnt complete because it was unable to write some file to the drive. When I try and defrag my tf2 files my comp locks up, and once I restart my tf2 install is only taking up 3gb. Something seems horribly wrong, but when I run chkdsk on the drive it doesn't find anything. Can anyone help me out here? Is my hdd dying or might it be something else?

Edit: I've reformatted and still noticed very low transfer rates and files getting corrupted. Luckily it's still under warranty, any objections to me putting in for an rma?
I said fuck it and put in for an rma  :p Reinstalled steam on a spare hard drive and things are fine now.
If I had seen this thread earlier I would've told you to do so earlier. Our Powermac died that way, Harddrive crapped out on us.
Honestly, who's going to object to an RMA if it's in warranty and misbehaving? Nobody.
