First, what you need to do is STOP RIGHT THERE CRIMINAL SCUM. When you do that, I'll inform you that NOBODY BREAKS THE LAW ON MY WATCH. Your best bet will be to go to prison, I'll keep your stolen goods.

This. Aside from the graphics hurting my eyes, it was so damn good. Nothing like a lancer in full dwarven armor.

MGE and having proper non segmented models makes the game look like a slightly less shiny Oblivion with lower res meshes. If they could mod combat to not be this obtuse dice roll-y crap now I'd love it even more ;_;
But yeah fuck Oblivion

Never played the older games, but I really liked Oblivion :v only thing I really disliked was the fact that you leveled up way too quickly if you used your major skills a lot. My character was constantly sleep deprived.
If you're stuck on where to go, do the main quest for a little bit, at least until you clear kvatch and get to Cloud Ruler Temple. Then I'd suggest exploring for a while to get some map markers, completing the Arena for some money, completing mages/fighter/thieves guild, looking up daedric artifacts, doing all the quests for each town, and finishing the main quest sometime before you surpass level 10 (if you want the related NPCs not to die in the many battles they'll be involved in during the quest)

Here's most of the mods that end up making the game a lot better.
