Early Impressions
Google+ is google's version of facebook, twitter, and maybe even tinychat. Its an interesting social networking site, that takes bits and peices from all of them to make this one ultra social network. For the most part, it is working and good, but there are still some flaws.
Pros
Sparks: I didn't think that sparks would be much, but this is really really interesting. You basically add your interests into it, and then it makes a news-feed for that subject. Like, I put in R&B music, now I am getting news about R&B, which I can share directly to anyone else on my news feed (now a stream)
Stream/Circles: Circles is a way to organize your friends, which is nice, but finds its main strength in its uses with the news Stream. With circles, you can organize your news feed in a real nifty and organized manner. Like, on facebook, I have 200ish friends, but I talk to like, 20 as my closest friends. Not that I don't care about the others, but these guys matter more. You guys get the general idea about how the circles work.
What is interesting about how circles and streams work though, is that you can add people you don't know to your circles, and they don't have to add you back or anything. It is much like twitter, which is why the circles organization is useful, since you can organize people you want to follow into a circle (provided; Following)
Huddles: This is Video chat, but any friends you have can just drop in at anytime. In the huddle, its a basic videochat, with chat on the side for those who dont have a mic, and integration with youtube for sharing vids. Seems like common sense to integrate videochat into social networking.
Cons
No Chat/Only chat with people on your Gmail: I think google will integrate a better chat program into it, but for now, seriously?
Uses more of a twitter format for friends: Personal preference, but if you add someone on your circles, I think they should be in yours, even if its not the same circle, that way, you two can communicate. This is probably why you can't chat with people who you just have in your circles.
Overall
G+, as I am now calling it, has a lot going for it. It is even at this point, much better than its competitors. The only thing it lacks is a efficient chat, but once it becomes open, I think google will get things improved.
And thats it for tonight, share your opinion/experience/pages  here!
