You say "TF2" but your intro quality says "Minecraft."

I'll be keeping an eye on you...

Tell them about your keyboard.

I'll say what you're actually implying with your greeting:

"HULKAMANIA IS RUNNIN' WILD BROTHER!"

Protip: Quit EvE now, before you're spending almost $100/mo for accounts.

I still have the most retarded urge to reinstall it every other month or so, create a trial account and go pop rats in Ibis' for a few hours. Then spin in a hangar for another few hours. And wish I was spinning my old deadspace/officer CNR. And hate on account hijackers.
you can have my mostly thanny ready gal account if you want i don't use it.

I wish I had the time to devote to get into something like EvE, where you actually take risks and death has consequence, rather than herp derp respawn at the nearest town with no consequences

On the flip side of that, you can't leave high sec without getting ganked.  Regardless, I found out today that my account has finally deactivated.  No more EVE...

You'll resub it within a week. This cycle will happen at least thrice more.

Also I routinely moved shit thru losec with an Orca and Buzzard?

Just gotta be cautious.

Until you accidentally get podded flying your $1.3bn clone after your inty gets webbed by a vaga and you get straight fucked up, and you realize you just lost about 20 hours of investment.

And you suddenly find yourself setting alarms at 2:30AM on a Tuesday to get online when the stront runs out in that POS you shagged a day ago. And then like 5 hours later you call out of work to keep fleeting.

That same risk:reward part that makes eve so entirely kick ass are also it's undoing, when I say it's like crack, I mean it.

I got incredibly lucky a while after I started playing and snagged a T2 BPO (hobgobby II for those interested) from someone who just got popped in a highsec system for that exact item, before the people who popped him got it. I had the income of a person with 5 years invested in the game with next to no work involved. Without that advantage, before long you can literally equate a ship's value to time played to earn that item. And the ratio is never good when you figure it out.

I'd probably still be playing if CCP had restored that BPO, too.

btw I don't hate EVE, I love it. It's shitty that the game is so fucking awesome and you can't really play it casually.

I only understand about half of what you've mentioned here.  I've only played EVE for a month.  And yeah, the urge to play it again is high, but, yeah...seems to take multiple accounts/joining a corp/having maxed out skills/etc. before you can actually go out and really enjoy the game.  Otherwise I'm just mining or killing rats.
I just quit because I got bored of having to spend 10 hours ratting/missioning before I could afford a decent ship, and then I'd go join a big fleet battle where we shoot at towers or search around for enemies for hours.  And then when we finally find a fight I end up getting instapopped and wasting that money.  I never had any interest in trading or manufacturing so I couldn't make much money.  All I ever wanted was the ability to get in fairly evenly matched fights, but the amount of times that actually happened in a year of playing I can count on the fingers of one hand.

Derp.

I was outside Jita one day and I saw a T2 hauler get popped by a gank squad, I snagged the Hobogoblin II BPO that the gank squad was after. Gave me the income of an industrialist with multiple years invested and some serious capital. At any one point I could afford a few carriers if I needed. The rest was fluff.

Like Eschatos said, fair good fights are hard as hell to find. Faction Warfare was about the best attempt at that thus far by CCP, but they ignored the rampant lag issues that plagued it so badly that it never even got the change to take off. 200 ship fleet battles could be taking place literally next door in a .0 system with no lag, while the 5vs7 FacWar battle taking place in the deadspace a jump away in a .1 would be lagging like a bob vs goons 800 ship fleet fight over a pos.

small gang roams were the best
everyone get in a shitty t1 frig and then just find something to blow up or get blown up

The BPO itself I could have sold on the open market for probably 15-20 billion, don't count on just getting one of them. BPO's like that are so rare (They're no longer available, what exists now is all that will ever exist. They're very very rarely taken out of the owner's personal hangar in an NPC station in a 1.0 system.
