I just started playing Go and it's a pretty intense "board" game combining close quarter battles with overall strategy. It's also one of the simplest games to learn (but one of the hardest to master). Anyways I'm getting tired of having my ass handed to me by the computer and wanted to play some people around my level. Plus you can learn more about the game by discussing it afterwords then wondering "how the fuck did the computer steal all my territory and kill all my stones?"

There are a couple of sites we can do this:
http://www.online-go.com/
http://www.gokgs.com/

Also we can chat during the games on mumble and I can teach anyone what I know there if you've never played it before.  If someone wants to try the sites out with me we can pick the best and go from there.
I'd be up for it. Tried Go before and would like to play with people for once as well. I think I have the basic idea down, but I may need a quick refresher for rules. I kinda suck though from what I remember.
go is commonly regarded as one of the most difficult games to comprehend because of the amount of possible moves, it overshadows chess by a longshot. My friend went to a summer camp devoted solely to it. I'm sticking to chess.  /:
I've only read Hikaru No Go, I'd probably be schooled at the actual game. Tho I wanna try it someday.

Hikaru No Go is what finally got me to try it.
I used to play, but I haven't in a while. Actually have a set sitting in my closest... would love to give it another go, though (ha!)
