As some of you may or may not know, Star Trek: Online will be Free to Play by the end of 2011.
Just wondering if either any one else currently plays Star Trek or plans on playing Star Trek when it free to play.
I'll probably give it whirl once it goes F2P
I might see where the game has gone since it's release. I kinda spontaneously grabbed it when it released and really didn't think it was all that interesting. Worth trying again now.

None that I know.
I played this from beta to ~ 2 months after launch. It was pretty fun, but very unpolished when it came out.
I was even in an rp guild, was pretty cool.
It has probably changed a bunch by now.

Just bringing it up to say that Star Trek has gone Free to Play is anyone was interested in playing at all.
Downloaded it yesterday and have been playing it today. Currently a Lvl 5 Ferengi female. I thought it was a dude until about 2 hours in I noticed I had tits.

Well ever since Grand Negas Rom things have drastically changed for the Ferangi.

Star Trek: Online is not available through Steam once again. I'm not sure but if you down load through Steam there could be the possibility of getting the Steam Pre-Order items, a special armor and an auto targeting plasma turret.
