Ok so on the afternoon of Sunday October 2nd 2011 a very strange problem started to happen. I wanted to play the battlefield 3 beta so I went to the site and it said I needed to download an update I already had so me being stupid I downloaded and installed it 8 times all of them ending the same none of them working and it still saying I needed the update. SO in anger I went to YouTube but when I got there yet again it said I needed to update adobe player which I already did. I want to say it's a virus or something but I ran spy bot search and destroy  and De-fraged the hard drive and c-cleaner and a security scan. All I got is the free version of AVG but it's picked out Trojans and such for me in the past.

SO I hope someone can help me or something because my next action would be to buy the best damn security software on the market... which is not cheap
wait what's the problem?

you can ignore that driver update notification if you want.

So...what's your problem again?

the thing about that is its built right into the forums.

I know my spelling sucks but the problem is that it asks me to update or instal a plugin multiple times for no reason. It's not just for battlefield 3 it's also for youtube and anything else that use adobe flash player
Do you have adobe flash player installed? Are you aware you launch Battlefield 3 through a web browser?

What browser are you using?
Yes I have flash player installed and I know battlefield 3 is launched in a web browser but it keeps telling me that I don't have the battle-log installed which I do and the browser I'm using is Firefox.
...Have you tried a different browser?

Uninstall and reinstall helps things work sometimes.

Sooooo yeaaaaaahhhhhhhh.

\:
or you could just ignore it
bf3 still launches if you get the driver error and close it out

as for your "flash player problem" i really have no clue what the fuck you're talking about and I don't think you do either

give us a screenshot of the error message.
No error message at all and I tried a different browser and same thing.
i'm starting to rethink my career as a tech support personal.
It's ok I realize I suck at life and things like this.
Completely uninstall firefox / adode, reinstall both?
see the thing is, you're not telling us what's wrong. like at all. if there's no error, or message to share then what's the problem.
Download more RAM to improve performance while you're at it.
Ok I uninstalled and re-installed adobe and the battlefield 3 plugin it worked for battlefield 3 but not adobe.
So whenever I want to watch a video or something requiring adobe it will not show up and it will just say a plugin is missing or that I need to download adobe. So I download and install adobe flash player and try the video or whatever again with it still saying I am missing the plugin. I install it correctly every time and it doesn't how an error when I'm installing it or anything but yet the internet thinks that I still do not have it installed.
So.... You can play Battlefield 3 now?  ???
