Well, now I feel dumb. I wish it had some more diverse questions, like... language ones.

My sentiments quickly went from "why do they give us 40min" to "OH GOD THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE"

IQ Tests are supposed to measure your ability to reason and learn, not test you on what you already know.

There's really no metaphor for it.
Welp, not very good at reasoning or learning.
Honestly, I wouldn't consider these tests an accurate indicator of anything. Reasoning is such a broad skill that is applicable to so many tasks that this pictorial exercise doesn't really do it justice. There are many forms that each draw upon different mental faculties (ex. I'm pretty good at quantitative reasoning, but comparably horrible at verbal reasoning), and the same goes for learning. I really feel that intelligence in any meaningful scope is too complex to crystallize and compare through testing like this.
115. I got bored at about question 28, so I guessed on the rest of them.

This mostly, all of these puzzles are about recognizing and changing pattern and putting in "what fits", and scoring high is no indicator of success
LOL IQ tests...

The first half was "this is stupidly easy," then it went to "what the fuck is this?" then "oh shit I'm getting it again" then back to "what the fuck is this?"
Conners 3 Psycho-educational assessments.
