No, I'll actually probably give this a try, because from the video, it looks like they actually put effort into making it. I guess the word I want to use is 'realism' but that never applies to videogames.

less than 2 gigs, maybe 1.3. or 1.6 gb. depends on how many different maps there are too if they do customs

Actually, the HDD market has inflated recently, due to floods in Thailand. A 1 TB HDD that cost $70 2 weeks ago is now $200.

...Well I gotta say it shows some great potential, not every day when you see a zed game where a single bite is game over. Ammo is painfully scarce, melee weapons are about as useful, and zombies seem to spawn when your not looking.
All in all, it shows a great deal of promise, and for a beta it's not that bad. It could use a lot of fine tuning and bug fixes, not to mention maps but I'd say it's at least worth a single go.
yeah its got its issues, im gonna stick with it for a while and see what ends up coming of the game. There was an update for it recently so..
and the whole beta thing.
