Kia Ora! I'm Azure Angel, or Kiwi for short. I love ponies and dolls and the colour pink... No seriously I'm a New Zealand girl who love sports AND video games. Cool! Studying at a film school atm. Mainly getting the hang of AVID and some basic stuff.

I'm kidding, I'm not studying film so I've never used AVID nor Final Cut. My friend is using Final Cut at school but has AVID at home, says AVID's too complicated.

Avid IS way too complicated if you're coming from Final Cut or Premier Pro. If you're starting out or coming from... *shudders* Windows Movie Maker... Then You'll have no issue with Avid. Personally I think Avid can burn in hell though. ;D

AVID, from my understanding of the program so far, has the ability to one-up any sort of editing suite out there, but it takes a master of the craft to be able to use it at it's full potential. I've toyed with Final Cut, but I'm mainly coming from

Seriously. Even though I don't like the program, I'm really tempted to pick up a copy of AVID at my school. It's only $300 in the bookstore.
