Got a room in the Hilton which is attached the convention center, who is interested?

Its in Baltimore (I know Zargon, Atom, and Pie are around...)


As a side note 2 - 3 other people might already have some claim to my room, but there appears to still be plenty of room at the Hyatt and Hilton, both of which are connected to the convention center.

I'll attend and help split a room, but I may not take off work for it since it's so close. My apartment is across town from the BCC, but within public transit distance so I may do that instead of paying to park at the hotel. Got some time to figure that out, though.

I'm in, assuming work doesn't fuck up my schedule.

Also: ICE COLD WATER JUST ONE DOLLAR!

I'm in for the con, but I won't need the hotel. I take the train to work every day that lets off at the convention center, so that's easy for me I might know some other people looking for a room, though, if you need more.

Well, everyone in my room dropped on me, attendance in doubt unless I can fill the room out...

I'm about 90% sure I'll go and I'll probably need a room. Caff, PM how much you think it will be if we split one.

$194/night for two nights + tax, so ~$210, and it is a two bed room.

I'll also check if some of my friends in DC are planning to come up and might want to share.

As always, my wife will be the self-appointed Kareoke Nazi in the Otacafe.  Stop by and say hi.  Maybe one of these years, I'll actually try to attend Otakon...but the "free hugs" signs that one year scarred me for life.

Caff, is your room for Fri and Sat nights? I'm trying to plan when I would have to fly in, etc.

Yep, Im going to try to get in early Fri morning, you and Cheese have given me confirmations so that should be enough, and I'd say we could probably fit 1 - 2 more in the room if Atom/Pie/Zargon want in

Called it! I'll be in New York for Thursday & Friday

Friday is most likely out for me, but I will have all of Saturday to hang out. Could I and perhaps one more guest crash in your room, Caff, and chip in?

Otakon starts next week. I just wanted to confirm who will be there make sure everything is still good to go.

I need to find myself a longsleeve black shirt and hood i think...? Otherwise I'm good.

Remember to stop by the Otakafe and say hi to the Karaoke Nazi my wife.  If you can actually sing, she might even be nice to you.

So how do photoshoots work at Otakon? I glanced over the forums just now and couldn't find much info regarding photoshoot times and dates.

I have no idea, but it might be one of those 'ask around' sort of things, I know at some other cons I just have to ask other cosplayers...eventually I find someone who knows
