Hey guys I'm new here to the forum. I've been hooked on Minecraft since I saw the Yogscast. I look forward to playing online and having lotso fun with you guys!
So are we just like advertising that we have a server now or something? I really wish we'd see a few more "Hey guys, I had fun on your TF2 server and figured I'd check out more about it."
Another minecrafter. Lemme just use my post for the last one.

Many of the people who play on the server bypass the two posts anyway.

Wasn't really directed at you, you at least
want to play TF2 and are otherwise somewhat active on the forums. I just really don't like OPW's flooding into the server. one of the reasons I stopped playing Minecraft.

F2P people seem to be in my experience, people who haven't played many PC games and dont have a mic or have not bothered to set theirs up

well that's how I started out as well (minus F2P obviously), so I'm sure some people will end up staying and buying/using a mic.
The past two days there have been quite a few randoms that used mics as well.

So wait leme get your logic straight here...
Fuckin' OPWs are ruining the MC server I QUIT! = Ambush and assault OPWs because they're ruining a server you don't play on anymore
Is that like rage-quitting but then finding them on steam and just sitting there screaming "Hacker" for a month?
(On a side note what good does calling someone a hacker do? Are they gonna go "AW FUCK YOU CAUGHT ME!" and stop?)
The problem is that the minecrack server is "set up" (it's a stupid rule) so that you have to post on the BRBu Forums in order to get unrestricted usage of MC (Because being on the BRBu Forums is totally gonna stop people from greifing) I suspect this is because instead of using a form box on the minecrack page they'd rather keep track of users on here. If you made it so that getting into the BRBu TF2 Servers and being able to use non-stock gear required registering on the forums you'd have just as many OPWs on here as with minecrack, just of a different subject.
It's bad planning, that's about it.
Short version: you can't really blame people who join the community specifically for a game other than the accepted 'primary game' for not wanting to play the primary game. Nor can you bitch about them ruining the game they DO play, if you don't play it any more. Right?

Well if the reason you stopped playing a game was because of the OPWs ruining it, then I think that's pretty legit reason to complain.
I'm just completely bored of minecraft though, so I couldn't care either way.
