Something I've been working on lately for fun is picking a genre and trying to make a playlist of songs that are essential to that genre. My first one was a punk playlist and the second one is going to be a folk playlist. So what is your favorite genres and what songs do you think everyone needs to hear from them?
Here is my punk playlist. I mostly ended up with older punk songs because I quickly realized that punk hit a point where it changed into more pop/alternative and wasn't really representative of punk anymore. Although I may add some Fucked Up and Andrew Jackson Jihad and other modern bands that are more in the spirit of older punk.
