Hahah, I am afraid I do not have that kind of sewing skills yet
patrolling the Mojave almost makes you wish for a nuclear winter.

Its really easy to do, also I saw another post that you were at Purdue, this means you are close enough to drive to ACEN, what's your excuse?
can you paint over the orange parts?  That bright orange kinda clashes with the rest of the colors on the gun...

Unfortunately I can't, our law states that anything that could be mistaken as a gun(even if it IS pink) it has to have a certain amount of orange on the barrel and such to clarify that it is a toy.(or something like that)
Otherwise I prolly would

I'm pretty short on cash at the moment, we will see when the time approaches, I don't want to go and not have enough cash for things. Also, it's a bummer to travel alone. Not saying "no" yet but it is near that side of "maybe" at the moment

I thought this was the case, but then i thought that would be a silly requirement for a pink nerf gun...  Oh well Sad

Actually at cons where this is a rule, people will sometimes use a removable orange plug. This way you can get snazzy pics with it.

Or you can go to something like DragonCon where they allow full replica assault rifles (no orange) because its Georgia and the state doesn't give a fuck.
