Anyone want a beta key for Torchlight II? First person to respond gets it.

Forgot to say it is a network stress test..so the key is for online play only.

So I just started playing the first one here and I'm actually really enjoying it, which is kinda funny considering I didn't care much for diablo back then. Love the pet mechanic too and how can just load him up with gear and send him back to town to offload. Only problem I have (or had) was that I was almost always overleveled and oneshotting everything, even playing on hard, though I'm getting appropriately raped in [spoiler]that lava/hellish place[/spoiler] so that's all good now.

Also, I love having a canine necromancer as pet.

Well what with them both being engineers I'm not surprised that they're both engineers.

Can anyone here comment on how this compares with Diablo 3? From what I've played of both betas this seems like a very suitable replacement.

This game has magma mace. It's obviously superior.


But seriously, it's all about opinion. I can't really see why everyone's so obsessed with D3. I played a few hours of the demo, though it "was an enjoyable game" then stopped playing. With TL2, I'm really enjoying it so far. The art style definitely has a big impact in my opinion I will say. I can't stand the dread darkness of Diablo, but I absolutely love the painterly style of Torchlight.

I say they're even experiences, but one game's $60 and the other's $20.

personally i'm more likely to support a company that doesn't require online always for a single player game.
