So.. i see a bunch of you is playing this again since Wrath of the Lamb came out..

Let's share some stories around a bonfire and comment how awesome this game is.

So uh... I have 118 hours on this game.

We have a love-hate relationship but I keep on going back for more. Sure, getting fucked over time and time again isn't much fun, but when it goes well, it's delicious.

As cool as Wrath of the Lamb is, a buncha items it has sorta turns it into easy mode. 5/6 plays, I was able to get to [spoiler]the cathedral and kill isaac[/spoiler] without taking a single hit because of my god-like builds. Last run I did with ??? left me with 9 soul hearts remaining.

I still can't play this game because fuck playing it with a keyboard, i want to map it to twinstick shooter controls but joy2key doesn't fucking support that

also edward mcmillen is kind of an asshole

I got it gifted by Gentz months back, never had a chance to play, now playing with the DLC, shits amazing

Finished Shoel last night, defeating Satan, very challenging game but with a nice learning curve.

Its all about the random drops though which can be a bit frustrating when you get shit-tier items

I'm inclined to agree with you... But I already beat everything with Eve. ??? is still a bitch though. Pissed about not winning last night. One room and poor positioning is all it takes to ruin everything. ):
