Speaking of which, I have lost my pocket knife. It was only a Buck Tempest, but still.

Time to find a replacement.

I buy these by the half dozen. Effective as fuck, but so cheap you don't really care if you loose it.  Only complaint is the clip loosens over time.
$9 keychain knife! It's seriously sharp though. And yeah, I'm guessing you aren't looking to replace a real knife with something like this.
For once in my life, my knowledge as a knife dealer comes in handy.

It's a good knife I used to use quite a bit on the farm. Keeps an edge nicely, and it's pretty cheap.
I hesitant to ever carry a knife I can't open in a really big hurry anymore.

I still have my Buck multitool that I use daily. Tho it is starting to wear out.

After talking with some guys at work, I had this ordered: http://www.gerbergear.com/Military/Knive...nife_05786

Credentials required to purchase, not to review it. The civilian version is extremely well reviewed. This version is made with nicer materials, built in the US.
There is also an auto version, but I cannot legally own it here.
when I need a $100 knife to properly stab someone, the worlds gone to far enough to hell that I think I'll just carrying a gun.
Continuing the knife commentary: I've had a Spyderco Delica CombinationEdge as my daily carry for ages. I lost my first one and have since replaced it with a Delica4, and I still like it a lot. One-handed opening, locking blade, and one-handed closing if you know what you're doing and keep it clean.

I'm happy with my typical Victorinox
I don't own a nice knife.  Sad

I don't either. I have a Gerber fixed blade that I got for like 6 bucks a few years ago but I've misplaced it.

oh goodness. I used to have such an infatuation of knives.

The ones that I've kept, and have lasted, have been an victorinox champion (nearing 25 years old), a victornox cybertool, a gerber gator, and a gerber eclipse. I prefer a locking blade, but the multifunction of the victorinox.

I wish I had kept the flea market replicas of the Rambo I and Rambo II knives. But, alas, they were bolted-on pieces of shit that didn't survive the brutality my early teen years had for them.

I once went to one of those big hunting conventions at like 12, and they had a display for the Gerber Tac II knife...I still consider that my dream knife, and would get it if I actually had a need to get stabby

Gerber Tac II knife
I carry this:

'tis a Gerber Crucial.

Very nice so far. I gotta keep it in my pockets more often... Usually it lives in my purse because it's a bit large for my actual pants pocket.
Godamned ladypants.
