They both worked for me. Was playing Trine 2 with Coelit the other night. Game's crazy fun in multiplayer.
Also, Noitu Love 2 Devolution's on steam for half off ($2.50). Think Metal Slug, except more crazy and mouse-based in a way that isn't awkward. Highly recommend at that price.

Macgicka's MP is fine assuming a few things.
1. Good internet connections.
2. Good computer on the hosting side.
3. You don't care about actually winning. That's what SP is for. MP is about making a mockery of games and having a hilarious time.

mp seemed like a good idea until a couple of people decide using the bsod spell over and over is the funniest thing and is never not the funniest thing (which happens about 5 minutes after the start of the game)

I've had issues with Magicka crashing and glitching out, but I've almost never had a problem starting a game. Maybe it's a recent bug.

specifically, my two issues have been authentication fails and when i do get into a game, when the game goes to load, it finishes loading and then goes to a black screen and no one can do anything.
as i said earlier, shittily coded game that was rushed for the money

Driver San Francisco is actually a really fun game and the only issue I've found so far is that a gamepad is pretty much a necessity because the PC controls are horrid.

Metro 2033 is actually really damn good. It feels a lot more on-rails than Half Life 2 but otherwise equal in every respect, though fuck stealth sections.

I've removed myself from the genre due to dangerous levels of rage. Between getting trapped for 20-40 minutes due to trolling/afk and having  to play against fed opponents it was too much. Any game where the match is essentially decided 5 minutes in and you have to sit there for 30 minutes just hoping your next game is a good one is not a game for me. I value rage quitting too much.
