Be Right Back, Uninstalling

Here is the very first Mature Mondays poll. Due to the large amount of choices, I am allowing up to 22 votes per person. That is exactly half the total number of games on this first vote. So select wisely! (As each week progresses the vote total will be reduced by 1)

As each game is selected it will be played and crossed off the list.

The games can not repeat until the full list of games is completed. Then we do it all over again.

Not all games will be a mod, some will stand alone, some may need to be purchased, and some games I may not be able to host a server for. In the event of a tie, I will use a random number generator to decide between the two.

If the game is using a server system that needs set up, if I am unable to get a server running (stable) we have the option of either playing on other servers (if they exist) or I will drop the game off the list if we can not get it to run on our systems at all, the second place will then become the default game in which the event will run.

All events will have a Mumble channel in the BRBU Mumble server (see that thread for its' info). In the event I am unable to "MC" (Master of Ceremonies), someone will do so in my place (please volunteer yourselves). I will, however, have a server set up for the game in which it is needed no matter what, barring any issues during set up that prevent it from running properly.

In the event that the mumble server is down for some reason (Unlikely), I do have a Teamspeak 3 server that can be fell back onto if necessary.

Information on how to acquire the game for the following week's Mature Monday will be posted the  Friday before the event takes place.

If you think I am missing a game or mod, please let me know, And I will add it in for the following week.

Votes submitted. I think that TF:C would be a great choice given that the community is (or at least was) mostly TF2-centric. However, I'm leaning towards Hidden, Sven, and HL2M. Especially the last one, my few times playing deathmatch with friends have been insanely fun.

Might also benefit from a vanilla Garry's Mod option though, though that's not always the most conducive to social gaming.

Other comment: I don't think we've ever beaten Cry of Fear's multiplayer. Mostly because it's crap, aha. Branches all around!

EDIT: Just found out I'll be at a research seminar that evening, but I should be back in time to at least catch the tail-end of it.

well you need to use something to beat the giants to death with, and by the way the ending isent really an ending at all

Please do not let Elevator: Source win. It's fun for one round and never fun again. Also, I've never played a fun game with Synergy since the game's code is always buggy. Not to mention it destroys the challenge for the game quite a bit.

Garry's Mod is pretty fun with a decent amount of people. We might even consider some sort of challenge: Split people up into teams so they can each try to overcome some trial (navigating an airboat through some airbourne obstacles).

Currently Tied, The Ship, Left 4 Dead 1/2, and Elevator: Source.

Voting will be closed sometime Sunday (Around Noon (Central) I think, as it gives me plenty of time to work on getting a server working for it). As stated before, if there is a tie a random number generated will be used to select between the tied ones.

As an update to everyone I am working a late shift at work this monday, so unfortunately I will need a substitute to MC the event. As stated before I will have a server (of whatever wins) running. I will be on IRC as best as possible through most of the day.

The event will literally run from "Whenever I get the server running" until "???". Seriously all day, 3 hours, I will have the server of whatever wins running as long as possible on monday.

I think the most fun i've ever had on internet multiplayer was playing Garry's Mod with Spore and Karth on a random server.

I wish I saves a replay from that night

Vanilla Garry's mod will be on next week's vote list.

We've got 3 of them tied right now. It'll be interesting to run a tiebreaker on the first vote!

It'd be good to know if I need to buy The Ship while it is on sale right now.

You can vote for 22 individual items. You can't vote for something twice.
