FYI - tried logging in tonight and it failed to launch (no errors). I'm verifying files at the moment.

you've been banned for exploiting a hack.  You need to stop trying to be so handsome, it's crashing the game for everyone.

Sundy needs more swag
The crash is fixed but the game itself is still broke..      news at 11.

They announced a pretty big laundry list of stuff to go in in ~3 weeks as well

Kills won't be worth as much. Biolabs will turn into 3 HAs on each side and 30 medics and engis battling for res points and ammo resupply points. No word on making ceiling libs carpet bombing easier to kill without A2A support.

SOE still hasn't learned anything and this game won't last 2 years at this rate.

Metagame mostly
Like I'm saying, they get 6 months from me.  I enjoy a lot of the mechanics, but they need solid metagame nonsense.  And proper gens, but only because I like killing gens.

In a nut shell
  • Few options for small groups for XP and meaningful actions, its all about the zerg
  • Focus on kills for cert grind
  • Population stacking between continents, everything is a 3-way, given even pops, there is no way to cap a continent
  • Lack of ability to siege down a hex
  • XP is disbursed in ways that encourage farming, farm that sunderer, don't kill it

While a lot of the mechanics and gunplay are good, much of the metagame was half-baked and not that well thought out, whomever's idea it was to have everything be a three way needs to be slapped upside the head. A three way should be a very rare occurrence that happens only when your empire has conquered a bunch of other territory.

Or when your girlfriend has a hot girlfriend and they're both into the idea....and involve you.
Also tactical diversions, meaningful benefits, etc.  I miss being able to gen hold major choke points and interrupting interlink and/or tech benefit, making it possible for VS to crack a CY or breach the back door and sprint to the gen, kill it, and hold the base.  However if they for example got the interlink back while we're running around in the base, everyone could see us on radar.
